Before coming to art, Peter’s creativity was restricted by the rigorously-straight lines of accounting.

He is self-taught in art, picking up tips mainly by chatting with and watching great artists, and loves trying out new techniques.

He ran the @VirtualSketchLeicester Facebook group during Covid, which allowed people to “meet” monthly to sketch locations all over the world.

In 2022 he set up Farnham Urban Sketchers (@uskfarnham on Instagram) to encourage local artists to get out and sketch the built environment.

He has been living in Farnham for 25 years.
